December 2017 Social Media highlights

Dec 31, 2017

This featured image is a screen shot of my Corel Painter 2018 work space with my new “Unisnoove” imaginary animal.

This is my social media highlights for December 2017. Here, I highlight some of my favourite key posts on Instagram and Facebook from the month. If you are not on Facebook or Instagram you can follow my process and progress with my art and other creative exploits here.  Happy New Year everyone! Here’s to a year of living your best creative life and exploring creative play and imagingation with your children. Feel free to leave comments below if you have any questions.

Instagram highlights of my Unisnoove imaginary animal creation updates:

Enjoying a cup of tea as I work in details of my Unisnoove animal. Press play to view the video

Thought I’d share a clear close up detail of the patterns I’m working on with my Unisnoove imaginary animal.

Here’s a speed painting of my work on his body patterns that I created separately. There’s a learning curve with the  iMovie video editing application, but I think I’m slowly getting the hang of it. click on the image above to play the video.

Instagram highlights of my Snorf imaginary animal creation updates:

Starting the worn wallpaper look with my patterns that I made in Corel Painter 2018. Using image transfer methods. My Epson P800 printer works well with image transfers. (see my time lapse video below for an example).
Here is a time lapse of my image transfers with the pattern designs I created in Corel Painter. I don’t mind a few imperfections because it lends itself to the worn old wallpaper feel I am going for.
Here’s speed painting of my Snorf piece where I’m adding dot details with Shiva paint sticks. The sky background was Pan Pastels.  Click on the image above to view the time lapse speed painting video.
